Holidays & Hotels in Mauritius

It is hardly surprising that Mauritius has firmly established itself as one of the most desirable destinations in the world for the discerning traveller wishing to escape the pressures of modern living.

White, sandy palm-fringed beaches contrast with the warm turquoise waters. Never ending clear blue skies stretch to the horizon, interrupted only by the occasional wispy white cloud. The ever-present sun gives life to the lush tropical gardens of the interior and casts shadows on the dramatic mountain scenery.

Offshore coral reefs and secluded lagoons ensure that the waters are calm and perfect for swimming, diving and snorkelling. The more active and adventurous are well catered for on water and land with many varied activities and sightseeing opportunities. Families are also well provided for with many hotels offering a fantastic array of supervised activities and entertainment for children.

The warm and openly friendly people of the Indian Ocean islands come from a rich ethnic mix of cultures with Indian, French, Creole and Chinese influences leading to equally rich and varied cuisines that will surpass even the most demanding gourmet’s expectations.

Mauritius is only accessible by scheduled air service guaranteeing exclusivity and privacy, whilst tourist development is kept subtle and unobtrusive making it the perfect escape and honeymoon destination. Accommodation in Mauritius is of a very high standard and offer unsurpassed service and facilities and for sheer indulgence, an unrivalled choice of health resorts and spas.
