North Island Overview

North Island is an on-going “Noah’s Ark” project seeking to reintroduce numbers of endangered indigenous species of the Seychelles. Only 7 kilometres north of Mahé, the island has been uninhabited for over 30 years and must now offer one of the most unique and exclusive hideaways in the Indian Ocean.

North Island Accommodation

The 11 air-conditioned guest villas cover a massive 450m² and have been lovingly hand crafted from natural materials, such as wood and granite, with a large and airy master bedroom and luxurious en-suite bathroom. The villas also have a study which can double up as a second bedroom, in which Internet access and digital telephone lines are available. Each villa has a sundeck and plunge/whirl pool, creating a secluded paradise among the natural surrounds.

North Island Facilities

The lodge is actively involved in the conservation project and guests have the opportunity to participate as much or as little as desired. The secluded beaches and idyllic seawaters provide many options, including snorkelling, scuba diving and fly-fishing.
