A holiday in Qatar is for those that want guaranteed sunshine year-round with very little rain to spoil the day.

In Qatar the hotels are the only places where alcohol is served and like all Middle Eastern countries that permit the drinking of alcohol, there are stiff penalties for drinking alcohol outside of these premises.

Activities for guests consist of cultural visits, watersports, or desert recreation, such as camel rides, desert barbecues and four-wheel excursions driving across the dunes and dry riverbeds (wadi-bashing as it is termed locally).
